Gialos Cafe Bar of Agia Efimia is situated overlooking the harbour and opposite the slipway which is used to launch a number of boats into the busy harbour during early spring/summer.

Gialos is owned and managed by husband and wife team Rania and Sotiris who have been welcoming holiday makers to Gialos and Agia Efimia for many years.

The cafe bar is open daily from early in the morning through until late evening and is a popular choice for both the locals, who often call in for a coffee and a chat, and visitors to the town who are looking for a comfortable spot to "chill out" over a light meal or snack and a drink or two!

"Galaktoboureko" a delicious custard type cake is made by Gialos

Gialos Cafe Bar is well known for it's delicious selection of home made cakes which include the local "galaktoboureko" - a light custard type of cake, a very moorish spice cake and a special orange cake which is the house specialty and the recipe is kept secret! We can assure you though, one bite is never enough!!

Gialos Cafe Bar is also the local internet cafe. They have a computer with ADSL connection and for a nominal hourly charge you can surf the internet and check your emails. Perhaps the place to start the day with a hearty breakfast before catching up with friends and family via email.

This friendly cafe bar is also a good venue to start your evening with a pre-dinner drink whilst watching the yachts as they moor up in the harbour opposite, or simply chill and watch the world go by.

Perhaps you would prefer to pop in after your evening meal for a drink or two before retiring to your accommodation for the night.
