Finikas Restaurant was established many years ago by the charismatic and popular local figure Andreas Alisandratos. The restaurant is in a lovely location opposite the harbour of Agia Efimia where the flotillas moor up during the summer months. It is a popular choice for locals and holiday makers alike.

Andreas has many years of experience in the restaurant business. He worked at a popular restaurant in Mykonos and also spent some time working on the cruise liners (when he was a young man!).  You can be assured of a warm greeting at Finikas Restaurant as Andreas and his team always go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and very comfortable. Even when the restaurant is full to capacity, which it often is, Andreas always manages to look after everyone in a very professional and calm manner.

Finikas Restaurant boasts a loyal team which includes the long serving "Yianni". Yianni, who will be well known to regular visitors to Agia Efimia, comes from Ioannina on the Greek mainland, and has been a member of staff at Finikas Restaurant for in excess of ten years. Yianni spends the winter months on the Greek mainland, returning to Kefalonia and Finikas Restaurant during early May each year.

Finikas Restaurant is open from early morning, where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast whilst taking in the atmosphere and beautiful views across the harbour of Agia Efimia. The restaurant is open all day and through until the early hours of the following morning!!

Finikas Restaurant offers a comprehensive menu featuring both delicious local Greek dishes together with a fine selection of international cuisine.  There is also an excellent range of wines available from the extensive wine list.
